Last week I shared my favorite sandals paired with a cozy, beachy outfit, but this week I’m headed to Palm Springs for a design retreat and I’m taking full advantage of what may be my last chance to wear summer clothes this year. Since it’s technically fall now, it may be time to start letting go of summer…slowly, of course. My “have it”–the cut out sandals you saw last week– is the perfect shoe Californians yearning to break into their fall wardrobe, thanks to the bootie style and open toes. I’d love pairing my sandals with a few perfect-for-fall-yet-suited-for-warm-weather items: polished flat front shorts, a tee with warm but still bright colors, and casual accessories that have a little extra weight (a leather bag instead of straw, a rope bracelet instead of a friendship bracelet).
