I wanted to start with my favorite sandals before it was too late in the year. You may not know already that I have a real obsession with boots, to the point that (as Josh pointed out to me) even my sandals tend to be booties, or at least have an ankle wrap. This leather cut-out pair is rather old (I got them for my 19th birthday–I’m 22 now) but I still use them constantly: they are the perfect comfortable, unique, neutral shoe to add some oomph to even a plain summer outfit. This get up was inspired by a late-summer trip to the beach, and the branding for Wood + Sea Co.
