The design: Strohl’s brand identity for La Condesa is a stunning example of how gorgeous simple, classic typography can be. There aren’t a whole lot of bells and whistles, but refreshing colors and rich texture are more than enough to provide a sense of (very aesthetically pleasing) personality. Oh, and does anyone else think this is what the world would look like if van Gogh designed logos?
The translation: plenty of classic, retro pieces (a mid-century style chair, macrame, Bolivian textiles) create a perfectly distressed, comfortable, and eclectically stylish vibe for this living room. Wouldn’t you just love to walk into a cafe decorated like this, with that weathered blue console table used as a bar counter?
