The design: as a former tennis player (and current tennis-elbow-sufferer) I have a soft spot for the sport, and J. Fletcher Design’s promos for the Family Circle Cup play into my weakness shamelessly. Fabulous texture, type, and color? Drool. Clever use of a tennis ball as a garnish on a mason jar of ice tea? Push my hipster-inclined buttons more, why don’t you.
The translation: chic and sporty summer clothes perfect for the preppiest tennis club you can find, for wearing to lunch of course–flowy tees, seersucker shorts, and an armful of bangles are more courtside than on-the-court apparel. Apparently I love this blouse, because I’ve featured it twice now–it’s all in the color (blocking), folks!
